Who's Hug Would Be Enough?

Who can substitute a mother?
Who can fill in her spot?
For an aching child
Whose hug would be enough?

Three generations of intertwined fate*
Each one is yearning for that familiar embrace.
For a longing mother and for her aching child
Whose hug would be enough?

*Grandmother, mother/father, grandchild

     *Don't get me wrong. I am thankful to everyone who is taking care of our children.
      I will be forever grateful to all of you.
      It's just that sometimes, our situation is too much for their little hearts.
